20 hours and counting

This is as close as I can get to my two babies until tomorrow afternoon. Yes, her belly is huge and yes, she looks great! Apparently most women experience some swelling, but kendra has not. she is still able to wear her wedding rings without any discomfort. Although the doctors say she will swell after the babies are out since her body will have to readjuts to pumping only enough blood to support her alone.

Ma and kendra are washing clothes and bedding. Did you know all clothes and bedding should be washed when they are brand new? so much to learn... I'm very glad she was a nanny all of those years and already has the expertise.

Here's a picture of the babies room that we've been working on for 9 months! Amazing how much stuff and preparation it takes to have kids, but it's been very fun for both of us. The crazy thing is, tomorrow will be just the beginning.

We'll be heading out for kendra's "last supper" whenever Mom and Dad Burgess get here. Kendra can't have ANY liquids or foods between 2:00 AM and the surgery at 11:30 AM, so we'll most likely have a big dinner and ice cream afterwards...

Kendra, you look simply stunning! I love seeing the babies' room, where they'll sleep (off and on) for the next few months!! Thanks for sharing this special moment with us. We love you FOUR!
